Answer: PUR is a polyurethane reactive hot melt adhesive that can bond to many substrates that a convention EVA hot melt cannot.

Answer: There are many factors involved in making a decision. Usage and stock are the most important. A book that is going to be used often such as a catalogue is a great example for PUR. Highly coated stocks, cross grain, and weight of the text are other things to take into consideration. It is always best to talk to your saleperson when designing a project.
